Dr. Kartik B Mangsuli

Dr. Kartik B Mangsuli is a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized expertise in trauma, hip and knee arthroplasty, and robotic total knee replacement. He completed his MBBS from SDM College of Medical Science and Hospital, Dharwad, in 2017 and underwent internship in March 2018. He then pursued his postgraduate MS in Orthopaedics from KIMS Hubballi between May 2019 and May 2022, where he received extensive training in orthopaedics and allied super-specialities, including emergency and critical care settings.Dr. Mangsuli has held multiple clinical positions that have enriched his surgical skills and patient care experience. He served as a Specialist at Taluk Hospital, Mulabagal from September 2022 to January 2023, followed by a tenure as Senior Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at KIMS Hubballi from February 2023 to September 2023. He further strengthened his expertise by working as Senior Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at JNMC Belgaum, a 2000-bed hospital, from October 2023 to May 2024, gaining hands-on experience in arthroplasty and arthroscopy.To enhance his skills in joint replacement, Dr. Mangsuli completed a fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty at Apollo Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore under Dr. Rajshekhar K T in October 2024. His clinical interests include trauma management, hip and knee arthroplasty, and robotic total knee replacement, reflecting his commitment to advanced orthopaedic care.

Dr. Mangsuli has also contributed to research and academic work in orthopaedics. His postgraduate thesis was a comparative study titled “Intramedullary Nailing vs Locked Plating of Extraarticular Proximal Tibial Fracture.” He has presented papers and posters at national conferences, including KOACON 2021 and KOACON 2023, and has published research in the International Journal of Applied Research, focusing on improving patient outcomes in proximal tibial fractures.
